SecurSurf acts as a secure corporative VPN, but was specially developed for private use. All Internet activity is encrypted with strong 256 Bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption. Works transparently in the background.

When the data emerges from the company's proxy servers -- which keeps no logs -- it appears to outside observers as if the traffic originates from them, not a user's machine.

This prevents any server between the user and SecurStar GmbH (the product's maker), including your ISP, from monitoring online activity. The company's Privacy-Tunneling accounts allow users to encrypt incoming and outgoing email, surf and browse news posts through via port forwarding. This service can be used in conjunction with, or independently of, SQUID proxies.

SecurStar also offers an anonymous, unlimited capacity email account that hides the originating IP.
